The Tour De France will hit the streets of York this weekend.
On Sunday the cyclists will leave York Racecourse at 11am (the pre-race publicity caravan leaves at 9am) and ride down Bishopthorpe Road, over Skeldergate Bridge and through the city centre, taking in the Minster before cycling down Bootham to Clifton and onwards to the A59.

Roads used for the race will be closed to vehicles from 4am until approximately 1.30pm, or as soon as possible after the race leaves York.
