Work will soon be underway in Huntington & New Earswick to improve the footway on Haxby Road.

Letters have been sent to residents affected by these works. Work will begin the week commencing 2^nd November 2015 to reconstruct the footway. This scheme is programmed to take 3 weeks, weather permitting and temporary traffic lights will be in place during working hours.

As with any construction work there is likely to be a small amount of disruption and inconvenience, but the council says everything reasonably possible will be done to keep this to a minimum.
